I’ve had a complete set of the 1847 Roger Bros Adoration, seating for 8, made in 1920. It was passed down from my Grandmother to my mother to me. It including gravy ladle, sugar spoon, another funny spoon, seafood fork, butter knife, 5 serving spoons (2 sizes), 2 serving forks. I was looking for a buyer if the price was right. The memories are worth more than $75-$100. I have 4 children. I’m 60 years of age and have survive cancer 4 times, the most recent in 2013. Maybe it will be of value to them when I am gone. It’s amazing what value others have placed on the beautiful, loved, special and things we placed so much valuable on today and when we were young. Even though I never use them, today when I looked at them I saw my Nana. Yes, enough money would have made me part with them, but $75-$100 would not be the number.
